I've got the day off.
And it's a good thing.
The last three days have felt like two weeks. All squished together.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a GroupOn coupon to here.
So me and the hunky hubby are having a lunch date today.
So excited.
Then we will do some Christmas shopping at stores that are not kid friendly.
On the top of my list for today are:

Bon Bon
Bunker
Hammerpress
Reading Reptile

Lazy Typical Day
Today is a lazy day.
I'm sipping coffee. Isaak insisted on having a drink. He'll never do that again.
Gentry wanted to know why mommy's and daddy's "like that stuff."
I didn't really have an answer.
The boys figured out how they can share the sit and spin.
But it did not last long.
Of course the dog had to get right in the middle of them.
She likes the action.
The smiles did not last long either. I had to take the sit and spin away.
Thinking about going to get the boys' haircut. They are getting quite shaggy.
It's always an excursion taking them by myself. (Dad is at work.)
The one motivating factor is I might be able to sneak in one of the new cute shops at Zona.
Just maybe. But probably not.
Later were going to celebrate my great-grandma's birthday. She turned 97.
I hope your Saturday is good. Even if not lazy like mine.

Guy Presents
Wondering what to by your favorite guy friend or partner in crime for Christmas?
Here are a few things that my hunky hubby put on his wish list this year.
He recently fell in love with someone else.
It's brown and has two wheels. And fenders too.
I'm only a little bit jealous.
He asked for this and this and this so that he could roll in style. Because with out these three things, he is just not cool.
Or something like that.
He also likes to read. He asked for this and this and this book.
T-Shirt are his favorite thing to wear. Ever.
He picked out this and this and this one.
All hand-made on Etsy.
Apparently he has a thing for trees.
And mustaches. (shhhhhh....I do too.)
They are already playing Christmas music on the radio.
It makes me happy. Even though I get tired of it by Christmas.
Today was cold. And long.
Thank goodness for tomorrow.

Grocery Store Blues....No More
I'm not gonna lie. I don't like to go to the grocery store.
It takes me forever.
Because I don't make a list.
And I nearly always forget to buy something. Or many things.
Just make a list you might say. Yah...yah....easier said than done in my world.
So today I found the most amazing service ever.
They are Fresh Connect KC and they deliver fresh local and
organic groceries right to your door. For FREE!
I am stoked. This could totally change my life. For reals.
So what did my first order consist of?
After editing my order about 8 times (because they totally allow that.)
I have finally decided on their bargain box (fruits & veggies), small beef/pork box, cheese, eggs, yogurt and milk.
(The fruits, veggies and cuts of meat change weekly.)
My first order is supposed to arrive next week. I'll let you know how everything is.
And maybe I'll share a recipe or two.
Because now I'll have time to search for some new ones. (yah right)
That don't include Ramen Noodles. (Hey..my two year old loves them.)
Anyways check them out.
Maybe you could save a few minutes too.
And support your local economy.
And feed your family delicious food.
Tell them I referred you. Cause I know you are cool like that.
