but I was still quite pleased with the outcome.
I can't wait to fill it with wallet junk.

Leather Wallet DIY
The strap on my favorite leather bag broke off but I loved the leather so much I couldn't bring myself to toss it out.
Here is my first attempt at sewing with leather.

Hi stranger...nice job! Nothing like soft, broken in leather bags/wallets. My late hubby used to have a leather business many years ago. He carved leather, had a leather sewing machine and a fortune in leather tools. I learned quite a bit about leather and dyes etc. Can smell it now in fact!
