We celebrated by wearing flip flops.
Except for Isaak.
He celebrated with bare feet.
Some battles are not worth fighting.
And he gets a ride most places.
(Because otherwise he runs and runs and runs-boy am I ready for that phase to be over with)
Lucky kid.
I went barefoot some this weekend also.

This post made me laugh because my son HATES shoes and socks. Every day in the car on the way home from daycare he kicks off his boots and pulls off his socks. The neighbours must think I'm nuts when they see me carrying my barefoot son from the car to the house in the dead of winter. Bring on summer!

ReplyDeleteI don't know much about the barefoot business because my son is obsessed with SHOES! (Wonder where he gets that from??????) The running situation is totally identifiable. I swear he RUNS in his SLEEP!!
